When We Answer and When We Arrive
Are you really open 24/7?
Yes, genuinely, not just a recorded message that says so. Call any hour of the night and you'll speak to a licensed plumber, not an answering machine, who can talk through what's happening and get someone moving.
What counts as a plumbing emergency?
A burst pipe, a blocked drain overflowing back into the house, no hot water in the depths of winter, or the smell of gas, anything actively harming your home or unsafe to leave. Ring us if you're unsure and we'll help you work it out.
How fast can you get here?
We aim to be on-site fast, and we don't waste time once we're briefed on the problem. Exact timing depends on where you are and what else is happening that day, but a real person will always tell you honestly what to expect.
Do you work weekends and public holidays?
Every day of the year, weekends and public holidays included. Plumbing problems don't check the calendar, so neither do we. Same crew, same price, same guarantee, whatever day it is.

Quotes, Prices and Paying
How can I pay?
However suits you on the day, card or bank transfer. You'll always see the number first, so paying at the end is just a formality, not a surprise.
Do you charge a call-out fee?
No. $0 Call Out Fee, every time, whether we end up doing the job or not. You get an honest look and a straight answer without paying just for us to turn up.
Do prices change once the job starts?
No. What you approve at the start is what you pay, however the job unfolds. The price we quote is the price you pay. No exceptions.
How do your quotes work?
A plumber assesses what's wrong, explains it in plain English, and puts a fixed price in front of you before any tool comes out. Happy to go ahead? We start straight away, and there's no cost either way if you'd rather not.

The North Sydney Side of Things
Do you work on North Sydney's apartments and strata blocks?
Constantly. From Federation terraces to strata towers, if it's got pipes, we've worked on it. High-density living brings its own issues, with shared hot water systems failing without warning being one of the most common calls we get.
How local are you to North Sydney, really?
Local enough to know North Sydney's landmarks without a map: the Saturday crowds outside Greenwood Plaza, the quiet run near Mater Hospital on a weeknight, and the different rhythm of the CBD towers versus the older blocks behind them.
What does heavy rain do to North Sydney's plumbing?
North Sydney sits on a sandstone ridge, so widespread flooding is rare, but a heavy storm can still overwhelm stormwater drains in the built-up centre and back up into older, low-set properties. If that's happening at your place, call us straight away.
Which suburbs do you service?
North Sydney is our home turf, and we also cover Crows Nest, Cammeray, Neutral Bay, Waverton and Kirribilli.

The Legal Side, Made Simple
What is safe to try myself before you arrive?
Turn off the water at the meter if a pipe's burst, or switch off your hot water system if it's leaking; both are safe to do yourself. If you smell gas, don't touch switches or flames, just leave the property and call from outside.
Who can legally do gas work in NSW?
Only a licensed gas fitter, by law. Every plumber on our vans carries NSW Plumbing Licence #275278C, and gas jobs specifically go to someone appropriately licensed for gas work, never a general fix.
What does the Lifetime Labour Warranty cover?
It means if it's not right, we come back. No questions. No cost.
Do I need to be home while the work is being done?
Not necessarily, as long as someone who can approve the price and let us in is around. For anything involving gas or the main water supply, having someone on-site is the safest option.
