Something's Burst? Speak to a Plumber, Not a Machine

It'll be worse by morning.

That's not a scare line; it's just how water and sewage behave. If something's actively leaking or backing up, every minute counts, and tonight's fix is smaller than tomorrow's.

Call now, while it's still a small job.

One call to (02) 9134 9064 gets you a licensed plumber, not an answering machine. While we're on our way, shut the water off at the meter out front, and stay out from under any sagging ceiling.

What we do

One Local Team, Seven Urgent Services

Seven urgent jobs, and one crew that handles the lot around the clock. Tap whichever matches your night, open its page for the detail, and we'll take it from there.

Not sure which service you need?

Call us and tell us what is going on. We will point you in the right direction and give you clear pricing before we start.

Act Now or Wait for Morning? What Counts

Can't tell a 2am emergency from a wait-till-morning niggle? Here's the quick read, plus the one move that spares the most damage before we arrive.

Call Straight Away

Water you can't shut off, a sewer backing up into the house, or a whiff of gas. None of these ease off on their own, so ring straight away and work the steps below.

Worth a Call Tonight

No hot water, a tap stuck on, or a slow leak spreading behind a cupboard. Not life-and-death, but far smaller sorted tonight than left to grow overnight.

Safe to Book for Morning

One tap dripping, or a single slow gurgle, will usually keep till a scheduled visit. If it turns nasty overnight, the phone's still on and so are we.

Fast to your door

Servicing North Sydney, North Sydney Council and Surrounding Suburbs

North Sydney is the Lower North Shore's commercial heart, a high-rise office and apartment district by the harbour, and we're here most weeks. From the towers along Miller Street to the quieter streets near the water, this is our regular run, and we aim to be at your door within the hour.

We cover the neighbours too:

Local knowledge that matters

Common Plumbing Emergencies Around North Sydney

Two-thirds of the homes here sit in medium-to-high-density blocks, from 1960s walk-up flats to newer harbourside towers. That stock packs flexi-hose connections under sinks and vanities, and one braided hose can burst and flood several units before anyone wakes.

Older terraces and the streets around St Leonards Park still run aged clay drainage that fractures and draws roots into the joints as it settles. When a summer storm hammers the ridge, stormwater and sewer lines surcharge and back up into the lower-set properties along Mount Street.

That plays out as a familiar short list:

  • Burst flexi hoses under sinks in unit kitchens and bathrooms
  • Sudden hot water failures in ageing walk-up blocks
  • Storm surcharge backing up drains after heavy rain
  • One fault in a shared riser reaching several units at once

How We Work When Water Won't Wait

From your first call to the final check, here's how a callout runs when something's actively going wrong. No mystery, and no waiting around for a quote in the post.

  • Call at 2am and someone picks up. A licensed plumber, awake and ready, who's heard it all before and knows exactly what to ask.
  • We come to you, whatever the hour. Vans stocked and rolling around the clock, because bursts and backups don't wait for morning.
  • The price is fixed before we start, even at night. You approve it first. No after-hours mystery figure, no awkward surprise later.
  • The fix gets done, then checked. Tested, tidied and made safe, so you can get back to bed with the problem behind you.

When you call, we give you a straight arrival window rather than a vague promise, and we text if anything changes on the way.

Why Choose Us for the Worst Nights

The people here rent more than they own and live mostly in units, which means a lot of first-time emergencies and landlords to keep in the loop. We keep it simple, and we keep it fair.

  • No mystery bill. The price we quote is the price you pay. No exceptions.
  • Nothing to pay for the callout. $0 Call Out Fee on every job, every hour, all year round.
  • No overtime games. Nights, weekends and public holidays don't change the way we price.
  • Proof you can check. Lic #275278C, fully insured, and 1000+ five-star reviews on the record.
  • Backed after we leave. Lifetime Labour Warranty means we come back. No questions. No cost.

Fair, upfront pricing — no surprises

What You'll Pay, Settled Before We Start

The pricing model is short. You approve a set figure up front, and it doesn't budge once the work starts.

Nothing happens to your plumbing until you've said yes to a number. That's the rule, even at 2am.

We diagnose, we put a fixed price to you plainly, and then we wait for your go-ahead. No surprises, no obligation.

Once you approve it, the figure is locked: it doesn't grow while the work happens, and it doesn't sprout extras at the end.

Your call, made once, honoured fully.

What North Sydney's Streets Tell a Plumber

The suburb went up in distinct building waves, and every wave left a different vintage of pipe below ground. Federation and Victorian terraces hold the oldest galvanised and clay; the 1960s to 1980s walk-ups added a wall of hot water units now at end of life; the towers run flexi hoses and shared stacks.

We're harbourside, not surf coast, so salt air is a slow background factor here rather than the main event. Still, the sea breeze off the harbour nudges outdoor taps, fittings and hot water units toward an earlier end than they'd meet inland, which is worth knowing when yours starts to weep.

Reviews From Neighbours Like You

1000+ five-star reviews

Real jobs, real homes, re-told with permission. Names are first names only.

The reviews do the talking: 1000+ five-star reviews from Sydney households who needed a plumber fast and got one, day or night.
Most were mid-emergency when they called, which is exactly when good service shows. On time, upfront on price, and no mess left behind is the steady refrain.
Neighbours talk, and we'd sooner earn the next call than chase it.

Good questions, straight answers

The Questions We Get at 2am

A handful of questions land on almost every after-hours call. Here are the straight answers, before you even dial.

Who picks up when I ring after hours?

A licensed plumber answers, any hour, not a call centre reading from a script. You'll get real advice on what to do while we head your way, day or night.

What should I do if I smell gas?

Don't flick switches or light flames. Leave the property and call from outside, then ring us to find and make the gas safe under licensed gas work.

Does home insurance cover a burst pipe?

Usually the sudden water damage is covered even when the failed pipe itself isn't. Keep photos and any part we take out, and we'll document the cause so your insurer has what they need.

My hot water unit is leaking. Do I switch it off?

Yes, turn off the water supply to the unit. If it's a gas unit, shut the gas at the isolation tap, then leave the tank for us and give us a ring.

Is there a fee when Sydney Water comes out?

Sydney Water is responsible for the water main out in the road; everything from your boundary into the home is yours. Whether a fee applies comes down to which side of the boundary the fault falls on, so we help you pin that down first.

What happens if the fault comes back after you've fixed it?

It shouldn't, because we test the repair before we pack up. If it does, the Lifetime Labour Warranty is simple: we come back. No questions. No cost.
